This Competent Indonesian Language Book for Senior High School/MA is designed to facilitate students in acquiring literacy competencies in accordance with the 2021 Curriculum Learning Outcomes. This curriculum positions Indonesian as a basic instrument for literacy and language competency learning. This book presents simple activity-based learning models to hone receptive language skills (listening, reading, and viewing) and productive language skills (speaking, presenting, and writing). At the same time, students will also be guided practically in mastering various types of texts and multimodal texts (oral, written, visual, audio, and audiovisual) encountered in everyday life. To support all these processes, this book is equipped with the following features.

Group Activities are activities to hone communication and collaboration skills through group tasks.

Summary in the form of a collection of material outlines to form students' long-term memory.

End-of-Chapter Exercises in the form of multiple-choice and essay questions as an evaluation, complete with higher order thinking skill (HOTS) standard questions.

AKM Model Questions are questions with Minimum Competency Assessment characteristics, specifically in the reading literacy section, to introduce the AKM concept to students.

Reflections are short fill-in-the-blank tables for students to introspect on their understanding of the chapter they have studied.
